Over spring break a large group of students toured the ExxonMobil Baytown Refinery. It is the largest petroleum refinery in the U.S. The students were
introduced to each of the major process units in the petroleum and chemical refining process.

Following the refinery exploration students toured the Houston Ship Channel, a port ranked first in the U.S. in export tonnage.

Parents of the Academy of Science and Technology, P.A.S.T. provided the charter bus which took students on both tours.
